Thesis Title: Developing Methods in Temperature-Jump Spectroscopy to Investigate Kinetics and Mechanisms in Colloid Systems.
Ben’s research in the centre will explore new ways to monitor chemical equilibria in colloid systems useful for optics, lighting and sensing. He will also be developing methods to optimise sensing in a fluorescent gas-detector for a variety of analytes.
