Dr Jamie Booth
Research Fellow in Condensed Matter Field Theory
PhD Chemistry, RMIT University (2004)
B. App. Sci. (Chemistry) RMIT University (1998)
Research theme: Control of Excitons
Dr Booth is a theoretical physicist exploring the connections between the formalism of particle physics and the phases and stability of condensed matter systems. His experience centres on adaptations of many-body ab initio modelling techniques for probing the excited states of strongly interacting systems of electrons (such as excitons) and their coupling to crystal lattices.
