Title of PhD: TBA (example: Spatial Variation and Correlation Between Spin and Magnetoluminescence Properties in Optoelectronic Devices)
Supervisor: A/Prof. Dane McCamey

Billy is a postgraduate student at the University of New South Wales currently undertaking a PhD with Associate Professor Dane McCamey.

He aims to understand the interactions of microscopic spin-dependent properties in optoelectronic devices by measuring the spatial variation of magnetoluminescence effects. By studying these key physical phenomena, more energy efficient devices through a better understanding of the interactions between spins may be achieved.

Qualifications:  BSc (Hons), University of New South Wales, Australia (2017)

Research theme: Excitonic Systems in Organic Light-Emitting Diodes
